About Fred. Olsen River Cruises

Brabant's classic design is a little smaller than many river ships, completely in line with Fred. Olsen's approach to cruising. Like our ocean-going fleet, this smaller-scaled river ship retains the style, ambiance and understated quality of a country house hotel.

Regular ocean cruise ship staples such as swimming pools, a full programme of activities and multiple lounges make way for a comfortable ambiance, complemented by relaxed and roomy public areas. Casual entertainment each evening, leisurely drinks and conversation with new-found friends is the norm. It's an understated approach, tailored to sophisticated British tastes. This includes only English being spoken on board - avoiding the need for announcements in multiple languages - and varied, interesting menus which are complemented by familiar favourites, from Marmite to a full English breakfast.

Brabant's size advantage really comes into its own while cruising the Moselle River, being small enough to navigate narrow areas all the way down to Luxembourg. Brabant will moor as close as is operationally possible to the heart of each destination, whether a city, town or village. As is standard for river ships, you may have to walk through or over other vessels to get ashore.
